The Comptia security+ certification is a globally recognized credential that validates the skills and knowledge of IT professionals in the field of cybersecurity. The certification covers the essential principles and practices of securing networks, systems, applications, and data from various threats and attacks.
The certification exam consists of 90 multiple-choice and performance-based questions that test the candidates on six domains: threats, attacks, and vulnerabilities; technologies and tools; architecture and design; identity and access management; risk management; and cryptography and PKI. The exam is 90 minutes long and requires a passing score of 750 out of 900.
