Thank you for considering a Cyberyami certification. As part of your exam preparation, it's essential to ensure you have the appropriate forms of identification. Please review the following Cyberyami identification requirements before registering for an exam. Candidates for professional level exams are required to present professional level primary identification. State IDs must be readily available, and proper identification should be obtained before registering for any exams. No exceptions will be made.
Identification (ID) Requirements
- The first and last name used for registration by the candidate must exactly match the names on both IDs presented on test day.
- All IDs must be issued by the country where the candidate is testing. If a candidate lacks a qualifying primary ID from the testing country, an International Travel Passport from their country of citizenship is needed, along with a secondary ID.
- Candidates must present two forms of original (no photocopies), valid (unexpired) IDs: one as a primary ID (government-issued with name, recent recognizable photo, and signature), and the other as a secondary ID (with at least a name and signature, or name and recent recognizable photo).
Cyberyami Online Proctored ID Policy
By law, certain IDs cannot be photocopied, digitized, or captured on camera. Thus, restricted IDs (including but not limited to U.S. military or certain secure access IDs) are not acceptable as identification for online testing. Therefore, U.S. military issued IDs cannot be used for ID verification with Cyberyami remote proctored exam delivery service.
- Primary ID: International Travel Passport, Driver’s License, Identification card (national/state/province identity card).
- Secondary ID: Alien registration card (green card, permanent resident, visa), Local language ID (not in Roman characters) – accepted only if issued from the country the candidate is testing in. In Japan, a valid Blue Japanese Health Card is acceptable.
Additional Allowances:
- Expired IDs are not acceptable.
- EU candidates testing within the EU may also provide a valid, unexpired EU card.
- In Japan, an employee ID or student ID (with name and recent recognizable photo) is acceptable as a primary ID if accompanied by a valid Blue Japanese Health Card. The Blue Japanese Health Card is also an acceptable secondary ID.
- If a government-issued ID lacks a visible signature (or has an embedded signature), the candidate can still test if other primary and secondary ID requirements are met.
ID Exception for Minors/Students (17 years and under):
- Applies to minors/students with only one form of photo ID (school ID is permitted).
- An adult with proper government-issued ID must accompany the minor/student at the testing center.
- The adult must sign next to the minor/student on the login sheet to verify identity.
- Guardian authorization is required for each testing event for minors/students.
